For years, Google has been warning of closing down Feedburner's email subscription, and they were really supposed to do so June 2021, but it seems not to have happened—not yet anyway. We're only on the second day of July, so we'll see.
If Feedburner indeed stops delivering emails, I'll probably set up a subscription service via FollowIt, which looks like a good free alternative to Feedburner (and also with more options for you, the reader).
(For anyone stuck in the same quandary, here is its link:https://follow.it/intro)
Apparently, the RSS feed & other aspects of Feedburner will be fine; it's only the email subscription that is supposed to close.
But I admit that anything to do with advanced technology gets me more confused & anxious as technology advances, so I'm not sure how the set-up will go. FollowIt looks very easy & straight-forward, but I've been fooled before (because literally every service online promises to be simple, easy, and quick—yet rarely is for those who lack a knack for Web tech).
I'm sort of hoping that Feedburner will just continue despite Google's neglect of it.
So if you're not getting new posts, yet new posts appear on the website, then that's why.
And if Feedburner indeed stops delivering emails, then I'll post another announcement on the blog regarding my intentions.
