War, War – Who is It Good for?
Why would people push toward war?
Depending on what you read, you see either Russia pushing toward war or America pushing toward war.
And all the Edomite countries seem gung-ho in this direction.
(Interestingly, most of the non-Edom world either does not want this war or sides with Russia. You see this throughout the Yishmaelite world, Africa, and the Far East.)
But really, it's the fiends behind the leaders.
Putin himself doesn't seem to want war, but the Ukraine crossed a red line it really didn't need to cross.
At the same time, some Russian advisors are calling for a nuclear strike in the Ukraine, seeing it as a way to end a war more quickly and prevent further causalities — much like the American reason for dropping the bomb on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
Except the Russian advisors wish to be even more humane than the Americans. The American military dropped leaflets warning the Japanese citizens of a strike on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
But the Japanese of 1945 did not understand what that meant. Many thought if they'd hide underground, they'd be safe.
The truth is, the U.S. military did not fully realize what bombing those cities would mean. It had never been done before.
So the Russian advisors who wish to nuke the Ukraine also wish to do so with more warning.

First of all, Hashem is orchestrating things according to our deeds.
Rav Itamar Schwartz has been saying for a long time that we are in the middle of the War of Gog and Magog. Any World War that erupts now is merely a physical manifestation of the spiritual war tormenting us for the past several years.
The Western world has become a moral cesspool.
Even right-wing conservative Christians show themselves as more liberal and raunchy than liberal democrats of the 1950s.

Self-proclaimed religious right-wing pundits no longer even try to push "waiting for marriage," opting instead to push birth control and adoption as a way to fight abortion.
Today, many right-wing Christian female pundits dress in provocative manner — including when going to church (and that wasn't widely acceptable even as recently as the 1990s).
Many right-wing Christian and modern Orthodox Jews pundits today freely use foul language banned by secular-liberal television in the 1980s.
"Traditional family values" go lost even by them.
And the liberal side is so far gone, it's not worth going into detail about it here. Simply pick up any mainstream newspaper or turn on any mainstream news channel.
Most of society is not ready to return to what it was prior to the Sixties. Even the right-wing religious pundits do not want that.
Individual exceptions exist.
But society as a whole has gone off the rails.
And Hashem doesn't like it.

When asked about the government and covid-19, Rav Schwartz answered:

5 Motivations for Destroying the World as We Know It
Here are some motivations we see today:
1) Some are modernized nature worshippers (like the Nazis or the Biblical Ashera cults). They manifest as climate fanatics who truly believe in manmade global warming and wish to see Russia crippled because it reigns as a leading natural gas provider, plus Russia doesn't kowtow to a lot of environmental policies.
Some see a potential loss of wealth and wish to take over the wealth of others — "you won't own anything and you'll be happy."
But if you don't own it, then who does?
If there's wealth, someone has to own it. It doesn't just sit in a big mound in the middle of a midwestern prairie.
So they see war (followed by "The Great Reset") as a way of cancelling all debt and redistributing wealth...into their pockets, of course. Not yours.
2) Some like the feeling of power. They like moving and shaking things, making decisions, controlling events.
Some of the power-hungry see themselves as saviors for the "lesser" masses. They see themselves as good and helpful, but lack the moral sense to realize how condescending and dehumanizing their attitudes are. (Many academically super-smart people carry this attitude. We've all met them. Just imagine them a whole lot bigger and more powerful with greater influence...)
3) Some like war. Just like a great many people enjoy realistic gaming battles, these people like real ones. And they imagine they'll come out victorious.
4) Some enjoy a sick curiosity and desire for the "interesting." We've had nuclear weapons for decades, yet we don't really know what would happen if they got used. Some people want to know (from the safety of their luxury shelters, of course).
5) Some just hate Russia. They are like bigoted boozy white-trash who want to get into a fight. They always hated Russia and think destroying Russia will gain them something.
This is like the generations-long feud of the Hatfields and the McCoys. Or the centuries-old enmity between certain ethnic or nationalist groups in Europe (Bosnians and Serbs come to mind, for example).
It's the guy they love to hate.
And so on.

Communism & Nazism: Different Motives, Same Goal
In Communist Russia and China, some of the original Communists genuinely wanted equality and an end to poverty and persecution. They genuinely believed Communism would provide that.
Others saw it as a way to gain power or money.
Either way, they all worked together toward this common cause.
A lot of true-believers were either murdered later or went over to the dark side, unable to resist the seduction of luxury even as the people they fought for suffered in poverty and government oppression.
In Nazi Germany, it was the same.
Many saw Nazism as a way toward social equality. Many saw Nazism as a "clean" way of living, with its emphasis on nature preservation, vegetarianism, and anti-smoking.
This got twisted into annihilating the Jews for "polluting" their "clean" race.
Some Nazi leaders and their followers relished the cruelty and butchery.
Others loathed it, but saw it as a necessary evil.
The commandant of Auschwitz impressed others as a pleasant, quiet guy. He also voiced his distaste of the suffering of Jewish children. But he kept going with the Holocaust, seeing Jewish suffering and the genocide of children as a necessary evil. Ultimately, this commandant (who felt so disturbed by the suffering of Jewish children and who behaved so nicely) was responsible for the murder of 1.5 million Jews — not to mention the horrific torments suffered by these murdered Jews and the Jewish survivors.
Nazism opposed Christianity because of its basis on Judaism and its belief in God, but not all Nazis were secular atheists in the way we think.
Yes, many were.
But many saw Nazism as a way to practice the occult. They dreamed of creating a Nazi Vatican and performed occult rituals in forests.
Nazis also murdered some of the fuhrer's biggest supporters because they wanted power more than the social change promised by the fuhrer.

Liberals & Leftists Excel at Presenting a United Front – a FALSE Front
For some reason, liberals seem a lot better at presenting a united front, even when they don't like each other at all.
For example, the Clintons and Obamas act like supportive buddies, but don't actually like each other.
Within their marriages, insiders report how Hillary hates her husband (with good reason, I might add) and recently, Michelle revealed that she didn't much like Barak even as they acted like the perfect White House couple.
(Having said that, her dislike of her husband was apparent at times, but most chose not to see it.)
For example, the Clintons and Obamas act like supportive buddies, but don't actually like each other.

The Chilling Resemblance between Dor HaFlaga & Today's World
The leaders of the Generation of the Dispersion (of Tower of Babble infamy) reflected this dynamic.
Some wanted the tower built to fight with Hashem (as if!).
Some wanted the tower to escape the presumed Great Flood cycle, believing that a tall enough tower wouldn't be covered by the rising water.
Along those lines, some intended to build the tower high enough to launch sailing ships into space and avoid the deluge of waters altogether. (They thought there was water and oxygen up there.)
Some wanted it to spy on their subjects.
Some wanted it for their occult worship, foolishly intending to utilize the tower as a conduit to reach abundance from the constellations above.
Some wanted it for self-aggrandized virtue-signaling. In the words of the Kli Yakar (Beresheit 11:6): "They planned to make a status symbol dedicated to peace..."
And so on.
Yet the leaders presented a united front of "Let's all get together in this one place" — rather than spreading out and settling the entire world, as Hashem wanted and specifically ordered them to do — "and build this really awesome tower as a sign of our unity and peace!"
As Rabbi Tauber noted decades ago, this was the first Communist society.
Yet just like today's liberal leftist leaders, all their propaganda of "global village" and "let's all be the same!" merely led to an increase of murder, violence, theft, competition, government corruption, and valuing equipment over human life (Malbim, Beresheit 11).
But the point is this:
The leaders all had DIFFERENT MOTIVATIONS for wanting the SAME GOAL.
The pro-Tower politician who wanted it to spy on the people is very different than the politician who wanted it to launch ships in case of another Great Flood.
And they were different than the politician who wished to use it as an occult conduit.
What they shared in common was greed, arrogance, Godlessness, and a terrible thirst for self-aggrandizement and a "Me first!" attitude.
